Curatorial Internships

Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton College



Following paper-handling training, the intern will have direct contact with objects in the Wellin Museum’s collection on a daily basis.

The intern will be exposed to every aspect of running a museum through one-on-one interactions and brown bag lunches with the various members Wellin Museum’s staff to discuss their individual museum experience and career trajectory. There may also be the possibility for day trips to local museums, such as the Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, to view comparative print collections.
