Curatorial Internships

Harvard Art Museums

The intern would work with objects every day of the internship. S/he would be trained in our digital database, The Museum System, so that s/he could have the fullest access to the scope of the collection (every object in our museum has been entered into TMS). Part of each day of the internship would be in the Art Study Center, working to catalog and examine prints under consideration for my exhibition.

During the internship, the intern would also have the opportunity to propose a small rotation of works on paper for installation in our permanent galleries. The group of 4-6 objects would be monographic or thematic; the intern would also write a label for the rotation.
